15% Alc. I have railed against cheap sweet wines for years, and now I have to endure the jibes of my colleagues as we present this baby. “Of course I meant cheap sweet wines, where sugar is added to mask flaws,” I have protested, not meaning to demean those wonderful German Ausleses, French Sauternes, or fabulous Ice Wines. Alas, I will just have to make a liar of myself, and proudly produce this naturally fermented beauty. A grape developed by UC Davis over the last 50 years, Symphony is a cross of Grenache Gris and Muscat of Alexandria, and it just seems to explode out of the glass with exotic tropical fruit fragrance. Enjoy this single vineyard high-altitude grown wine as a sipper, or try with cheeses or desserts. Serve chilled. (375mm bottle). Growers Cup, Best Arizona Dessert Wine and Gold Medal—AZ Winegrowers Festival at the Farm 2014. Silver Medal, Jefferson Cup 2015 and San Francisco Chronicle 2016.
