13.8% Alc. Another Cote-Rotie co-ferment experiment, this one 97% Shiraz and 1.5% each of Viognier and Symphony. We seem to have got the best of both worlds with this baby, and like the 2014, we are certain these wines are the only ones like them in the world! Intense and fragrant without being oaky and cloying, and with a really true French-style moderate alcohol. The judges seemed to like it! Double Gold, San Francisco Chronicle, 2018.
